ASAH Connections for Success Scholarship Awarded to High Point Graduate

At the May 13th High Point Graduation, Leslie B was congratulated by her parents, classmates and teachers.

For the second year in a row, the ASAH Connections for Success Scholarship has been awarded to a High Point Student! The recipient, Leslie B, is a 2006 graduate and resident of Toms River.  The scholarship is for $2,500 which she will use to further her education at Ocean County College. She was honored at an award ceremony at High Road School in Somerset on May 12, 2006.

Leslie was also awarded a $200 scholarship from the NJ Council for Exceptional Children. She received that award at a ceremony at Kean College on May 5th.

At graduation, Leslie presented her teacher, Helen Moffatt, with a special plaque thanking her for her inspiration and dedication to helping Leslie achieve her goals.
